Dr Paul Sherrard qualified from Liverpool Dental School in 1985 and worked as an associate in Wirral before taking over Moreton Dental Care in 1990.
Through his unique brand of enthusiasm, hard work and great attention to detail Dr Sherrard has transformed the Hoylake Road building from a one-man operation to the cutting edge practice it is today.The practice now offers the services of four dentists and a hygienist, all providing high quality dentistry in a friendly and modern environment.
Dr Sherrard is passionate about ensuring the highest standards of care for his patients, and to that end has pursued his post-graduate studies with vigour. He has three prestigious Royal College of Surgeons qualifications- the MJDF and the MFGDP, both awarded by the Royal College, London, for general dentistry, and most recently the coveted Diploma in Dental Implantology, awarded by the Royal College, Edinburgh. He has also been awarded the Post Graduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry from Warwick University.
Dr Sherrard has a particular interest in dental implants, and has been placing implants at Moreton Dental Care since 2003. His flair for implant work has led to an increasing number of other local dentists referring their implant patients to him for treatment.
Dr Sherrard is treasurer of Wirral's Local Dental Committee and a member of the Association of Dental Implantologists (ADI).
Dr Sherrard has tutored final year dental students at Liverpool University, and more recently has teamed up with eminent implantologist Dr Chris Lucas to run courses introducing dentists to implant techniques.
Dr Sherrard is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family, playing the piano and keeping fit.

Dr Tam Haque

Dr Haque was brought up and educated in Liverpool. Immediately after qualifying he joined Moreton Dental Care. He is especially interested in minimally invasive dentistry which reduces the need for drilling healthy teeth.
Dr Haque regularly participates in postgraduate studies to further develop his range of treatments and has been awarded Post Graduate Certificates in Endodontics (root canal treatment) and Orthodontics from Warwick University. He is currently studying for an MSc in Orthodontics.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Haque is part of a team involved in developing a scheme to alleviate the transport problems that most cities face. Married with two young children, he also has a keen interest in music technology and sound engineering, and is an avid reader.
Dr Lucy Benbow

Dr Benbow joined the Moreton Dental Practice immediately after qualifying - she is a popular member of the team and enjoys helping nervous patients and children overcome their anxieties.
Dr Benbow has a special interest in cosmetic dentistry and implants, studying in London with leading UK specialists to further her experience in this field.
Dr Benbow has two young children, and enjoys spending time with her family when she is not at work. A keen sportswoman, Dr Benbow still finds time to play squash.
Dr Jon Bankes

Dr Bankes was born and brought up in Wirral and gained a degree in genetics before embarking on Liverpool University's dental course.
After qualifying he worked at a busy practice in inner city Liverpool where he gained experience of nervous patients who often required extensive treatment to restore their smiles
Dr Bankes has completed several courses in advanced restorative dentistry and has a special interest in providing pain-free root canal treatment using specialist equipment to provide the best possible results.
Dr Bankes has a young daughter who he loves helping to look after. He also
manages the occasional game of five-a-side football and rugby. We welcomed Dr Bankes to our practice in May 2009.
