Dr Sherrard has been awarded two diplomas in general dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, London.
He holds the prestigious Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and the Post Graduate Certificate in Implant Dentistry from Warwick University.
Dr Sherrard received implant training and mentoring from highly regarded and experienced implantologists including Dr Chris Lucas, Dr Nigel Saynor, Dr Steve Byfield and Dr Alex Chu.
He learned the all-on-4 technique from its creator Dr Paulo Malo in Lisbon, Portugal.
Dr Chris Lucas recognised Dr Sherrard's skills and invited him to jointly deliver a lecture programme introducing implants to dentists. This commitment has also included a trip to the United States for Dr Sherrard to lecture in Washington DC.
Dr Sherrard is a member of the Association of Dental Implantologists (ADI) UK.
The ADI is a registered charity dedicated to providing the profession
with continuing implant education and the public with a greater understanding of the
benefits of dental implants.
