A big cheer for our intrepid practice manager Stacey Collins who raised more than £1,600 by completing the Tough Mudder challenge this month.
Stacey decided to tackle the muddy12-mile obstacle course for charity in memory of former patient Nick Pope who died of lung cancer earlier this year.
The money donated by patients, staff and friends, will go to the Liverpool-based Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Stacey, 32, said: “I have been amazed at everyone’s support and generosity. Donations are still coming in!”
The Tough Mudder course at Chomondley Castle, Cheshire, consisted of 25 obstacles involving ice, water, electricity and fire, and was designed by the UK’s Special Forces.
